Individual Truffles
Every single one of our truffles is hand crafted, seasoned, and packaged; no electronic devices are used in the process of creation. Every flavor is unique in what it offers the palate, and each looks beautiful when cut and presented after dinner for special occasions.
All truffles are 90% cocoa, 100% Fair Trade and Organic.
A note on shipping: A flat rate shipping charge of $6.00 will be added to your order when you have completed your selections and are finalizing your payment. We apologize, but shipping rates have increased this year. If rates go back down we will be sure to adjust accordingly. We ship all of our orders priority which means that your chocolates will arrive within one to two business days. We ship out on Mondays and Wednesdays consolidating our trips to the post office to lower our fuel emissions.
We can guarantee that our love truffles will make it to your doorstep but not that they will withstand the heat of sunlight for an entire day in your mailbox. Be on the lookout for your incoming bundle of love when it arrives so that you can enjoy your chocolate as it is intended.
Raspberry Rose
Our deep rich chocolate meets its match when it is infused with organic raspberries and carefully dusted with organic rose petals on the outside. The pleasant tartness of the fruit dances on the palate as rose closes each bite.

Lemon Rose
Freshly dried and ground lemon peel enhances the flavor of the cocoa, while rose petals harmonize both flavors to provide a beautiful exterior on an already charming interior taste. All the refreshing qualities of lemon and the uplifting properties of raw cooca make this truffle the perfect way to start your day.

Lavender
One of our first flavored chocolates and a time tested favorite among our customers. Freshly dried and ground organic lavender dusted on the outside of each truffle makes for each bite to be unique. Just the right amount of the lavender is used to complement and never overwhelm the blissful taste of the chocolate.

Cardamom
One of the most beautiful truffles when cut in half, cardamom is a delightful mix of sweet spice which dusts the outside of each chocolate. There is no simple way to describe the unique flavor this spice creates with our truffles, yet it is a union that creates a smile after every bite.

Earl Grey
Infused all throughout the truffle, earl grey is as specific as the people who enjoy the tea. Organic decaffeinated Earl Grey tea is employed for this flavor along with bergamot for that extra sweetness. We first saw this pairing in chocolate while touring France and knew that it would be a wonderful addition to the raw dessert community.

Matcha Mint
The birth of Love Bird Chocolates came about when this flavor was requested by our local tea shop in Sebastopol. For those of us who enjoy the pairing of mint in our dark chocolate, get ready for a completely unique experience. Peppermint, and licorice are the first coating followed by powdered green tea which adds to the already anti-oxidant rich confection. Bitter, aromatic, and delightfully sweet, your idea of mint chocolate will never be the same.

Curry
The savory taste of curry spice greets the sweetness of our agave to balance the palate. The beauty of the truffle beckons all who look at it to take a taste while those who already have enjoyed can’t stop smiling.

Lemon Verbina Damiana
Our most recently hatched truffle to the Love Bird family, lemon verbena is infused throughout while Damiana dances on the exterior. In the spirit of spring, we use Damiana which is hailed for its aphrodisiac qualities to offer those of us who are looking for that special something to add to their diet. Earthy, grounding, and mellow, this truffle enchants everyone from children to those well versed in the benefits of damiana.

Yerba Mate
Tailored to those of us who want an extra boost of energy in the morning or afternoon, our Yerba Mate chocolate is infused with the extract of the mate plant and will curb any caffeine cravings you may have. Powered by antioxidants, Mate is traditionally enjoyed as a tea and is used as a dietary supplement by people in South America.

Blackberry Vanilla
Freshly collected and dried blackberries from Sebastopol paired with the rich warm taste of vanilla come to you just in time for the endless days of summer. Check back for these truffles to be available late summer 2008.
