Welcome To The Love Nest!
Love Bird Chocolates is a small homegrown raw vegan chocolate business based in Sebastopol California.
We like to call our confections "Intentional Chocolate" because every batch contains laughter and love. We believe that we are what we eat, so we make sure to dance with our mixing bowls and sing while packaging.
We only use Organic and Fair Trade ingredients, and every chocolate is sealed in a biodegradable wrapper
There is no sugar, dairy, preservatives, or fillers present in our chocolates so you can rest assured that every bite is to the betterment and joy of your soul and body!
The legend of Love Bird Chocolates goes a little something like this:
Raven and LittleBird met in Sonoma County and were brought together by the vision of living the most conscious lifestyle possible. Both were acutely aware of the effects positive intentions had upon their bodies, and had a soft spot for chocolate, so they went in search of a sweet treat that was both nutritious and conscious. When no chocolate stood up to the test, Raven poured his love for LittleBird into the best raw ingredients he could find, and out came Love Bird Chocolates. The two have been together ever since!
Six months and many a night of laughter later they perfected their recipe and are excited to share their love with you!
Every batch of chocolate is patiently crafted, with an emphasis on being present and offering affirmations to the ingredients.
All of our packaging is biodegradable, every truffle egg packaged by hand. LittleBird hand crafts every gift nest from foliage collected on walks through Sonoma County, and while LittleBird nests, Raven perfects flavors using herbs grown locally in Sebastopol California.
These days Raven directs his energy towards creating a sustainable production farm and creating an intentional community here in Sonoma County while LittleBird continues to create chocolate with her sister Songbird. Littlebird and Songbird grew up in the same nest in the Santa Cruz redwoods; and we all know, birds of a feather fly together, so last winter Songbird moved closer to be with her sister. The two can be spotted at farmers markets together, smiles equally wide, offering hugs to people who pass by.
